1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Qubie ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Platform. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Qubie.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use Qubie.
  • You must be a current corporate employee with a valid work email address from an approved corporate domain.
  • You must use your genuine work email address for verification. Using fake, temporary, or personal email addresses is prohibited.
  • One account per person. Creating multiple accounts is not permitted.

3. Account Registration & Security

  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
  • If your work email domain is not yet approved, you may submit a domain request for admin review.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Qubie only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You agree not to:

  • Post false, misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent content.
  • Harass, threaten, abuse, or intimidate other users.
  • Post content that is hateful, discriminatory, obscene, or offensive.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
  • Spam, solicit, or send unsolicited communications to other users.
  • Post listings for illegal items, services, or activities.
  • Attempt to circumvent platform security measures, rate limits, or access controls.
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Platform without authorization.
  • Use the Platform to promote competing services or unauthorized commercial activities.
  • Share other users' personal information (email, phone number) without their explicit consent.

5. Content & Listings

5.1 Your Content

  • You retain ownership of content you post on Qubie.
  • By posting content, you grant Qubie a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and store your content on the Platform.
  • You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of your listings.
  • Posts automatically expire based on their category (7 days for tickets, 30 days for housing and community posts).

5.2 Categories

Qubie supports the following listing categories:

  • Housing: Flat/PG/room sharing, roommate search, short-term stays.
  • Tickets (Buy/Sell): Event, concert, movie, sports, and conference tickets.
  • Ask Community: Recommendations, general questions, and advice with public discussion threads.

5.3 Prohibited Content

  • Illegal goods or services.
  • Counterfeit or stolen items.
  • Content that infringes intellectual property rights.
  • Personally identifiable information of third parties.
  • Malware, phishing links, or harmful software.

6. Transactions Between Users

  • Qubie is a platform for connecting users. We are not a party to any transaction between users.
  • We do not process payments, guarantee the quality of goods or services, or mediate disputes between users.
  • Users are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before entering into any transaction.
  • We strongly recommend meeting in safe, public locations for any in-person exchanges.

7. Privacy & Anonymity

  • Your use of Qubie is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
  • You may post anonymously. When posting anonymously, you control whether your company name is shown.
  • Anonymous posting does not exempt you from these Terms of Use. Violations can still result in account action.
  • Your work email is never displayed publicly. Your personal recovery email is stored privately and never shared.

8. Moderation & Enforcement

  • Users can flag posts or report other users for violating these terms.
  • Administrators review flagged content and may take action including warnings, content removal, and account suspension.
  • We reserve the right to remove any content or suspend any account at our sole discretion.
  • Repeated violations may result in permanent account termination.

9. Messaging

  • In-app messaging is provided for communication between users regarding listings.
  • Messages are private between participants but may be reviewed by administrators for moderation purposes.
  • You may block users to prevent further communication.
  • Do not share sensitive personal information (bank details, passwords, Aadhaar numbers) through messages.

10. Intellectual Property

  • The Qubie name, logo, design, and all platform software are the intellectual property of Qubie.
  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform without written permission.
  • User-generated content remains the property of the respective users.

11. Disclaimers

  • Qubie is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
  • We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
  • We are not responsible for the accuracy, quality, or legality of user-generated content or listings.
  • We do not endorse any user, listing, or transaction on the Platform.
  • Corporate verification indicates that a user has a valid work email — it does not constitute an endorsement by their employer.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Qubie and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

13. Account Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time from the Edit Profile page.
  • Upon deletion, your profile is removed, your posts are anonymized and deactivated, and your personal data is purged within 30 days.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms.
  • You may export all your data before deleting your account.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of Qubie after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
